At APRIL, our mission is to make insurance easier for you everyday. As our member, you are entitled to free and unlimited TeleHEALTH services, accessible easily on your Easy Claim app. 

Two options are available to you: you can either request a physician callback for general health questions or a Second Medical Opinion for more serious conditions.

Request a physician callback 

When should I use this service?

  • Daily health consultation (headache, stomach ache...)
  • Improving awareness about certain diseases
  • Occupational diseases
  • Seasonal health issues (rash, laryngitis...)
  • Health questions while travelling
  • Further elaboration after clinical visits

What else should I know?

  • This service is available 24/7 in English and Spanish
  • French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa, Vietnamese, Thai and German languages are available Monday to Friday, 9 am to 9 pm (HK time). Other languages are subject to doctor’s availabilities.
  • It can be used anywhere in the world and anytime (ex: outside clinic hours, including during public holidays) 
  • You can use this service as many times as you wish, at no additional cost and without impact on your premiums

How does it work? From the homepage on your Easy Claim app, click on the button "Contact a doctor", then select "Request a teleconsultation" and fill in all the required fields. A notification will be sent to our health partner and a doctor will call you back within the next 3 hours.

Request a Second Medical Opinion  

When should I use this service?

  • I need to validate first diagnosis (for example critical illness)
  • I have been suggested to take a surgery
  • I need support for conflicting diagnosis from different doctors
  • I wish to explore alternative treatment plans
  • I am suffering from a rare disease

A few examples...

  • “I have been diagnosed with lung cancer. My oncologist recommended a surgery followed by chemotherapy. Is it the best option for me?”
  • “I have a knee injury and was recommended to undergo invasive surgery followed by 2 months of rehabilitation treatment. Are there any alternative treatments, such as physical therapy?”
  • “I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis and would like to be better informed about my condition and the risks related to it.”

This service gives you access to the best medical experts worldwide. Our health partner Teladoc Health possesses a network of 50,000 experts, including oncologists, neurologists, rheumatologists, cardiologists…  

How does it work? From the homepage on Easy Claim, click on the button "Contact a doctor", then select "Request a Second Medical Opinion" and fill in all the required fields. A notification will be sent to our health partner and a doctor will call you back within the next 24 hours to discuss your case in more details. This doctor will become your Case Manager and will guide you through each step of the process. Experts will review your medical history and records, and give valuable insight and their opinion of your situation. Your Physician Case Manager will explain to you the comprehensive, detailed medical report.
