BIMC has 2 hospitals in Bali, with one in Kuta and another in Nusa Dua, as well as a medical clinic in Ubud that also offers some emergency care, all of which are staffed by talented medical professionals and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
Avoid stress and paperwork by using APRIL International’s direct billing network
Eligible APRIL International members can use our direct billing capabilities when receiving outpatient treatment from BIMC or any other medical facility in our Asia-wide network. This allows our members with eligible health insurance plans to avoid having to submit a claim at all since the healthcare provider will bill us directly, keeping our members’ trips to the doctors as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
For members needing more extensive treatment that is planned in advance, we can arrange a Letter of Guarantee with the healthcare provider in advance so that we can cover the costs directly, even for hospitalisations.

In 1998, BIMC opened their doors as a clinic with 10 staff. After growing steadily, they opened their first hospital in 2005 and their second in 2012, adding the Ubud medical centre in 2018. Given their extensive medical tourism business, they are fully prepared for international clients.
While BIMC’s medical centre in Ubud does offer a hand full of beds for emergency treatment and observation, it focuses more on diagnostic and laboratory services.
The Kuta hospital contains two centres of excellence, their 24-hour accident and emergency centre, as well as their 24-hour medical centre which focuses on family medicine and consultations. Their pathology and pharmacy units are also available 24 hours a day.
BIMC Siloam Nusa Dua is an expansive hospital which has received accreditation from the Australian Council on Healthcare Standard International (ACHSI). It offers full emergency medical care and contains 5 medical centres of excellence: the 24-hour accident and emergency centre, the 24-hour medical centre, which includes a wide variety of medical specialists, the dental centre, the cosmetic surgery centre and the dialysis centre.
